PANTOMIME A HUGE SUCCESS
Huddersfield Giants stars last night teamed up with the Huddersfield Light Opera and entertained a full Lawrence Batley Theatre with a fantastic performance of the pantomime Humpty Dumpty.
Giants Stars Robbie Paul, Chris Thorman, Eorl Crabtree, Paul Jackson, Andy Raleigh and Darrel Griffin stole the show with their humour and enthusiasm throughout the evening.
Highlights included Robbie Paul having a bucket of wallpaper paste poured down his shorts from Dizzy Dolly Eckerslike and the six Giants taking part in the song ‘one-finger one thumb’ with a full dance routine.
The all singing all dancing Giants were game for everything that was thrown at them and you could clearly see that they were also having a good time. At the end of the show Robbie Paul and his teammates regained the King's Crown back from the crooked man.
Giants Marketing Manager James Brammer said:
“It was a terrific evening and it was great to see a theatre full of Giants fans. Credit to the Huddersfield Light Opera who put on a fantastic pantomime and accepted the Giants Stars with open arms. A huge amount of credit must also go to the six guys who did a sterling job and fitted in so well especially considering they only had one rehearsal.”
